Each zone has its own wall mounted controller allowing you to manage each zone independently and set the program mode to turn the heater on or off in various zones at your preferred times.

We ensure that each of zones has the minimum number of outlets as specified by the manufacturer guaranteeing performance and warranties. Zoning upgrades are available on all 4, 5, 6, & 7 star equivalent systems. Remember it’s easier and more cost-effective to include this upgrade when the system is first installed.

How it works

Gas ducted heaters work by passing cold air over a heat exchanger, which is warmed by gas combustion. The warmed air is then pushed through a network of insulated ductwork to a series of floor, wall or ceiling mounted vents.

A thermostat is then installed in the main living area, which controls the desired temperature of the home.

Next, return ducts are installed either in a hallway or in the ceiling, with their purpose being to extract air from the room and recycle it through the system where it will be further warmed before re-entering the home.

Zoning

A zoned heating system divides your home into different areas or “zones”. These zones can be controlled separately throughout the day or night allowing warm air to be delivered to your rooms of choice. Advanced systems can be configured with individual temperature controls in each zone.
